Book Review — Watchmen by Alan Moore

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Read this.

I don’t care if you’re not into “comic books” or think they’re childish or whatever.

Watchmen is more sophisticated than many books I’ve read, and is a solid story through and through.

To be honest, it was completely unexpected because I had no idea that a graphic novel could leave me so delightedly bewildered. You know that feeling when you’re reading and you’re not really sure what’s going on, but you know that it’s awesome and you keep on reading? Yeah, Watchmen does that.

Everything from the characters to the story and its complexity blew be away.

Many have hailed this as the pinnacle of the medium, and I can’t say I disagree.
