Book Review — Summer Knight (The Dresden Files #4) by Jim Butcher

Summer Knight (The Dresden Files, #4)Summer Knight by Jim Butcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What I like about Jim Butcher is how long he will spend on scenes. It doesn’t jump around too quickly from plot point to plot point, or adventure to adventure. And it’s not that he drags them out either. It’s just incredible how much action and character development can fit into one room.

The audiobook brings this world even more to life, and the Dresden Files are quickly becoming my favourite serial.

I refuse to acknowledge these books as a “light read.” Those that call them that clearly do not see Butcher’s skill at the craft.
