Book Review — Thor’s Angels by Dan Carlin

Thor's AngelsThor’s Angels by Dan Carlin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A fun and informative look into the history of the “barbarian” Germanic people after the collapse of the Western Roman Empire.

To be honest, a part of history that I didn’t know much about, but am now happy that Dan Carlin has exposed me to.

He portrays them in a positive light, trying to counteract the classic image we have of raiding hordes of savages.

If you’re descended from Northern Europeans (modern-day Germany, Netherlands, etc), or just a fan of history, this is another great show.
